In having a look at the Outlook 2010 settings (File > Options > Search) on users computers, the 'Change how items are searched with Instant Search' is not selectable, and the 'Indexing Options' button is greyed out. I have a user with Outlook 2010 with an account on Exchange 2010 who reports that whenever trying to do a search, Outlook reports that it is still indexing messages. These issues have easy solutions and will have Outlook search working asap.

But today someone noted that they can't get the Search indexing to work, nor can they get the People Pane to update either. Outlook 2010 search problems are the most common issues when it comes to Outlook.
